Another Hausmann
activity is the manufacture of herbal extracts and derivative plants,
using for it the best extraction's technology, avoiding the deterioration
of the active plants principles in cases and the case of aromatic
plants that its flavour remains intact.
We have technical specifications that they guarantee the microbiological
purity, identity control and valuation by physicalchemistry and spectrophotometrics
methods and polluting agents control to guarantee the maximum quality
of the extract.

| Manufacture to third parties |
| Upon request of the client it is possible to manufacture private formulas for exclusive use. As an example, we may mention, among others, the manufacturing of syrups, pills, capsules, oral solutions and granulated products. |

| Colorless liquid extracts |
Sometimes the dye which imprints the extracts to the products is incompatible, in which cases, the extracts to be used are those which give none or little color to the product.
He extract undergoes an intense freezing, with a filtration in cold in order to separate the chlorophyll and other elements which lack biological activity and give color to the extract.
The availability of colorless extracts is limited and impossible in the cases where the dye is an active principle of the plant. |

| Essential oils |
| Various and different essential oils are obtained from diverse plants, roots, flowers or fruits using methods based on steam distillation or cold pressed. |

| Detepenated essemtoal oils |
The essential oil is deterpenated by means of a process involving cold under inert atmosphere with selective solvents.
This process consists in the separation of terpenes and sesquiterpenes which are products with little or no aroma, tasteless and easily alterable.
At the end of the process a high quality product is obtained which is the fine part of the scent. |

| Compound syrups |
| These are liquid forms constituted by a solution very saturated in sugars which disguises the disagreeable flavor of certain vegetable extracts and dyes to which fruit scents and juices may be added. |
| Elixirs |
| These are liquid forms sweetened with a variable amount of alcohol derived from extracts or dyes from the formula. |
| Granulated products |
| These are solid forms constituted by irregular masses of a homogeneous size. Usually, these are intermediate forms used to manufacture pills. |
| Galenic preparations |
| These are formulas used for pharmacy use, traditionally used and which can be found in various pharmacopoeias and traditional collections of formulae. |

| Balms |
| Theses are generally thick liquids obtained by mixing diverse parts of plants with alcoholic proof grading and for external application. |
| Alcohols |
| These are hydro alcoholic liquids obtained from plants (for internal use) or chemical products (for external use). |
